AFBR‑7QER15Z‑CS1 – 40 Gbps QSFP+ Active Optical Cable (AOC), 15 meter

The AFBR‑7QER15Z‑CS1 is a premium 40G QSFP+ Active Optical Cable delivering up to 40 Gbps (4×10 Gbps) full-duplex data over 15 meters of OM3 multimode fiber using 850 nm VCSEL technology. Engineered to the QSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3ba standards, it supports high-performance protocols including 40G Ethernet, 40G InfiniBand QDR/DDR, and Fibre Channel.

Each cable integrates four parallel optical lanes, with each lane operating at 10.3125 Gbps, consuming under 1.5 W of power and operating from 0–70 °C.  As a straight cable (no patch cords or transceivers needed), it simplifies deployment and lowers latency in dense data center environments.

Fully plug-and-play with hot-pluggable QSFP+ connectors, the AFBR‑7QER15Z‑CS1 is widely compatible across Avago/Broadcom-certified platforms as well as third-party networking gear from Cisco, Arista, Dell, Mellanox, HPE, Juniper, and more
