Description
NADDOD Arista QDD-400G-XDR4 Compatible 400G QSFP-DD XDR4 optical transceiver supports 100G breakout links up to 2 km, with forward error correction (FEC) performed on the host platform. The 400G QSFP-DD XDR4 (DR4+) module adopts a 1310 nm EML transmitter and PAM4 modulation, operating at a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm to deliver 400 Gb/s optical transmission. The module is compliant with IEEE 802.3cu specifications for 100GBASE-FR1, as well as 400GAUI-8 and CEI-56G-VSR-PAM4 electrical interface standards. The 400G QSFP-DD XDR4 transceiver is typically deployed for interconnecting 400G leaf switches to spine switches, or 400G QSFP-DD switches to 100G QSFP28 switches. As server network interface card (NIC) speeds continue to increase, it can also be used to connect 400G QSFP-DD switches with 400G OSFP or QSFP112 NICs. The module is widely used in high-performance computing (HPC) networks, data centers, 400G Ethernet interconnects, enterprise core and distribution layers, and service provider networks.
