Description
NADDOD Arista compatible QDD-800G-2xDR4 optical module is designed for 800G Ethernet optical interconnects based on PAM4 modulation, integrating two independent 400G DR4 channels within a QSFP-DD form factor. Compliant with the QSFP-DD MSA and IEEE 802.3ck / 802.3cu standards, the module delivers an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s, with each 400G channel implemented as a 4×100G PAM4 parallel interface. Designed for Arista 7060DX5-64E switch, the module ensures stable high-speed signal transmission and consistent performance in high-bandwidth environments. By using MPO-12 APC connectors, each DR4 channel supports 4-lane 100G transmission, enabling flexible connectivity between 800G QSFP-DD ports and either native 800G modules or breakout configurations to two 400G DR4 QSFP-DD modules. This makes the QDD-800G-2xDR4 well suited for high-density 800G switching systems that require scalable bandwidth deployment and smooth migration between 400G and 800G Ethernet architectures.
