NADDOD Generic compatible OSFP-800G-2xSR4 is an Ethernet 800Gb/s 2x400Gb/s Twin-port OSFP, SR8 multimode, parallel, 8-channel transceiver using two 4-channel MPO-12/APC optical connectors at 400Gb/s each. Built-in Coherent VCSEL & Broadcom DSP, the module performs high-speed electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical conversion across 8 parallel lanes, enabling an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s over multimode fiber for short-reach data center interconnects. The Twin-port SR8 transceiver is a key innovation with two internal transceiver engines enabling 64 ports of 400Gb/s in a 32-OSFP cage switch. It supports flexible 800G-to-2×400G breakout deployment, making it well suited for high-density spine–leaf and rack-level architectures where scalable bandwidth, efficient port utilization, and low-latency connectivity are required.
