The S5850-24S2Q is a Layer 3 switch featuring wire-speedC�40GbE QSFP+ uplink ports in a compact 1U platform, delivering up to 640 Gbps switching capacity and 480 Mpps forwarding rate. It includes redundant hot-swappable power supplies and smart fans for enhanced reliability. Supporting advanced Layer 2/3 features such as MLAG, BGP, OSPF, LACP, and MACsec, the switch addresses the scalability, security, and application demands of modern networks. It is ideal for high-bandwidth aggregation in enterprise campus distribution deployments. It also serves as a Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch in data centers, providing 10GbE server access and 40GbE spine uplinks.
